What can we say???!!!! This year has been AMAZING!

Here are just a few highlights:

Tyler James had the opportunity to travel and work alongside Angus Mitchell at hair-shows in both LasVegas and Orlando. An experience of a lifetime!

We launched our website and our blog!...

We became a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon and Tyler James was certified as a national Paul Mitchell educator!

We had a blast as we hosted our first charity hair event; REFRESH- raising over $1500 for pancreatic cancer research!

The entire Salon Evidence team attended several hair shows-learning the latest in style, tools and products. SO FUN!
Tyler James was asked to do the hair for the cover shoot of the Wacoan magazine! (November issue)

We ended the year by knocking out a wall and expanding the Salon- giving us more room to better serve YOU!

WOW! We have enjoyed so many wonderful experiences over the past year and we are excited to see what 2011 holds! We hope to see all of you at the Salon in the coming days and weeks but until then...

We are Expanding!

Yep! That's right! We are super excited to announce that Salon Evidence is growing! We have started to renovate the space next door and will be opening up the wall ANY DAY!

The expansion will allow a new and improved waiting area, more elbow room for our stylistist and for Jessica and for all the new products we will be bringing in.

And.....once the expansion is complete...we will be making a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT- so stay tuned!

Charity DOG WASH {Give Back}

Tyler James and Salon Evidence are GIVING BACK today! Tyler and Jessica will be washing dogs today at Dogtopia (Target Shopping Center) in support of BRINGING JUSTICE HOME!

WHEN?: TODAY!!! Sunday, October 24th from 1-4pm

WHERE:? Dogtopia-Waco.

All donations benefit the international adoption of a little 2 year old girl from Ethiopia, Africa!

Dog Baths- Baths include: a brush-out, shampoo & dry.
A $10 donation is suggested per wash.
Silent Auction! A HAIRCUT & STYLE by TYLER JAMES and lots more!

Pet Adoptions- Fuzzy Friends Rescue will be on site!

We raised over $1500.00!!!!!

Our hair show (last night!!!) benefiting Pancreatic Cancer was a HUGE success! We are thrilled to have raised over $1500! And...the show was AMAZING! (if we do say so ourselves!)

We want to thank everyone who came out in support of the event as well as everyone who donated time, resources, gifts and talents! We are so grateful to each and every one of you!!!

Stay tuned for pictures and video of the event AND watch for our next hair show coming in Spring of 2011...and remember GIVING BACK IS THE NEXT BLACK! (it's what's in!)

Salon Evidence Cuts for Charity!

XTERRA pros are headed to Waco, Texas for the second race in the nationwide XTERRA U.S. Pro Series.

In exchange for a $15 donation to the non-profit Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) - the official charity of the Paul Mitchell hair-cut-a-thon - you can get your do done right!

The CAF was founded to help physically challenged athletes reach their athletic goals.

Give back, get styled! This Sunday @ Cameron Park in Waco from 9:30am-1:30pm!

Born in Seattle and raised in Arizona, Tyler has always been an artist and entrepreneur at heart. Tyler discovered he had a talent for hair and refined his skills while attending Toni and Guy Academy in Scottsdale, AZ.

Tyler quickly made a name for himself and became assistant to notable international salon owner, Robert Quinn. Working closely with Robert, he appeared weekly on the morning makeover show for Scottsdale’s News Channel 3, Your Life A to Z. He went on to do hair backstage at local events including Scottsdale’s Fashion Week and Miss Teen Arizona pageants.

Newly married, Tyler and his wife Jessica (who manages Salon Evidence!) moved to Waco with a dream of opening a Salon. In less than 1 year that dream became reality. Over the past 2 years, Salon Evidence has evolved and is now a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon.
